VECLAN1D
One-dimensional Langevin dynamical code for nuclear reaction
Developed at
Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, Kolkata
The present code is intended to simulate the dynamical evolution of excited compound nuclei, starting from the compact ground-state deformation, until the time when either fission fragments or evaporation residues are formed. It is implemented with the elongation degree of freedom, restricting the calculations only to the symmetric fission fragments. Apart from the flexibility of choosing different light-particle and gamma-ray evaporation channels, it also includes dynamical features such as shape-dependent shell corrections and dissipation. More details can be found in the README. Please let us know if any further information is required from our end.
The code is written in FORTRAN90 and can be run in parallel mode using the MPI architecture.
